Lighting inside a drawer should solve a real problem
Drawer lighting can be useful when a deep vanity stores small products that disappear in the back. It can also add a quiet premium detail when the light turns on naturally as the drawer opens.
It is not automatically useful in every drawer. A shallow drawer with good internal organisation may not need another electrical component.
The driver is part of the design
The LED strip or fitting is only one part of the system. The driver, cable route, switching method, heat, moisture exposure and replacement access also need to be considered.
Electrical work in bathrooms must be planned and installed by the appropriately qualified professional. The driver should not be permanently sealed behind stone, fixed drawers or glued panels.
Choose the lighting with the cabinet
Drawer depth, runner movement, internal dividers and the finish all affect where light can go. A visible hotspot or cable can make a carefully designed vanity feel improvised.
The right question is not “Can we add a light?” It is “Will this light improve the way the cabinet is used, and can it still be serviced later?”
