More vanity width is not always more storage
Making a vanity longer can create a generous visual line, but the extra width may be consumed by two basins, plumbing, drawer divisions and the clear counter needed around them.
A tall cabinet or integrated tower can separate daily wash-zone storage from towels, spare toiletries and cleaning products. It may also keep the counter calmer without making the vanity unnecessarily wide.
Height needs careful placement
Tall storage can make a room feel heavy if it blocks light, crowds a doorway or interrupts a mirror composition. The cabinet should be checked against the door swing, window, shower glass and the sightline from the entrance.
In an older property, the wall and floor may also need checking before a tall unit is fixed permanently.
Storage should match the routine
The best storage plan asks what the household needs close to the basin, what belongs elsewhere and what must remain accessible for maintenance. A tall tower is useful when it solves a real storage problem, not when it is simply added to fill a wall.
