Start with the apartment and the existing specification
Oceans Umhlanga marketing identifies premium apartment finishes, including Hansgrohe tap fittings in some current descriptions. That is useful context, but it does not prove that every unit has the same product or that every replacement component is interchangeable.
Before changing a bathroom, identify the installed mixer, concealed body, waste, drain, mirror, shower hardware and cabinet system from the actual apartment.
Coastal replacement is not just a style change
The new finish must be checked against the water supply, concealed body compatibility, fixing positions, building rules, ventilation and service access. Replacing a visible trim without confirming the rough-in body can create an expensive mismatch.
Coloured finishes also need their own warranty and cleaning review. A long mechanical warranty may not cover the decorative colour for the same period.
Confirm building requirements first
Access, working hours, water isolation, rubble movement, lift protection and approval requirements should be checked before demolition or delivery. Building-specific details must be verified with the body corporate or managing agent.
