The final position should be tested against the bath’s actual dimensions, not a catalogue image. Product variations matter, especially where the room has a tight luxury layout with a basin, shower and toilet nearby.
Plan service access before the finish
A freestanding bath looks simple because the services are meant to disappear. They still need a sensible installation route and access strategy. If a connection cannot be reached or inspected, a small leak can become a major disruption.
