Compare the complete platform
Check the frame type, masonry or drywall use, cistern depth, pan connection, waste arrangement, flush settings, flush-plate range and access route. The visible plate is only one component.
Installation support matters
The system should have clear technical documentation and a suitable local supplier or installer. A product that is difficult to identify or support later may be a poor fit even if its showroom finish is attractive.
Spare parts are part of value
Confirm availability of fill valves, flush valves, actuators, plates, seals and compatible pans. Ask what the manufacturer commits to supporting and how parts are obtained in South Africa.
Do not mix systems casually
A pan, frame and plate from different manufacturers may look compatible while using different dimensions or operating mechanisms. Confirm compatibility from the manufacturer’s documentation.
