A beachfront apartment needs a specific material conversation
The Pearls is a coastal residential development with apartments and penthouses near the Umhlanga shoreline. That context makes corrosion, ventilation, access and serviceability sensible questions before a bathroom renovation begins.
It does not mean every unit has identical exposure or that every product needs the same specification.
Check the actual room
Record the orientation, sea-facing openings, balcony shielding, ventilation, existing products and areas where salt or condensation can settle. Review the base metal and finish of mixers, shower hardware, drains, towel rails, mirror frames and cabinet hardware.
The body warranty and colour warranty should be read separately, especially for brass, black and other decorative finishes.
Verify building rules before making a programme
Working hours, lift access, water isolation, rubble removal, protection and approvals must be confirmed with the building or managing agent. This article does not imply that Signature is an approved Pearls contractor or has completed work there.
